FSN Labs FURY Pre-Workout Review

Readers of Black Sheep Warrior may find this review a break from the norm, but it is one of the first reviews for the new lifestyle section of the site.  As an audience of military, law enforcement, first responders, and prepared citizens, you all realize the need for down time.  When you live on the edge, you absolutely have to unwind at some point, so Black Sheep Warrior is here to help you do that as well.

For most of us, physical fitness is just as much a part of our lives as carrying a gun.  It not only helps relieve aggression, or unwind at the end of the day, but it is vital to our professions.  One cannot hump a rucksack for miles, chase absconding assailants, drag a fire hose up multiple flights of stairs, or drag a family member to safety without possessing a decent level of physical fitness.  The nutritional demands to fuel our bodies before, during, and after a workout is just as important as the training itself, if not more so.

Stephen Fleury, owner of FSN Labs has set out to create a supplement brand that military and law enforcement professionals can rely upon for good, quality nutritional products to keep them going during their strenuous days at work and at the gym.  This passion comes from his own experience as a law enforcement officer, military veteran, and personal fitness trainer.

Fleury joined the U.S. Army out of high school and deployed to Germany with the 1st Armored Division (Heavy) in 2008.  While serving in the military, Fleury studied health and wellness, nutrition, and personal training.  He continued his studies after getting off active duty and became a certified personal trainer in 2010.  From 2010 to 2012, Fleury trained numerous clients, while also serving as a full-time law enforcement officer.

Fleury’s passion eventually led him to team up with fellow fitness minded professionals to begin the creation of his own nutritional supplement brand.  After working with nutritionists and other personal trainers, and receiving customer feedback on existing pre-workout supplements, Fleury developed and released his first FSN Labs product, FURY Pre-Workout.

Nutritionally, FURY was designed specifically to increase vasodilation, support muscle growth, increase strength, and promote body fat reduction, all of which are achievable through the main ingredients of Creatine Nitrate, Kre-Alkalyn, Beta Alanine, L-Arginine, Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AAKG), Amino Acids, Choline, Inositol, and Yohimbe.

Kre-Alkalyn is essential for the benefit of keeping the body’s blood in an alkaline state, which is optimal for minimizing inflammation, reducing the risk of sickness and disease, and promoting general health.  It also carries the same benefits of Creatine, which is proven to increase muscle density, strength, and endurance.

Creatine Nitrate was used in place of the more popular Creatine Monohydrate to reduce the stomach bloating and water retention that usually comes with the latter.  Creatine Nitrate not only provides the same benefits as Creatine Monohydrate without these side effects, but also provides the body with Nitric Oxide to increase blood flow and nutrient delivery to the muscles.

More and more current scientific studies have shown that ingesting Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) before and during strenuous workouts is beneficial for muscle growth and recovery, which is why FSN Labs chose to include L-Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine into the mix.  Additional nutritional ingredients include: Glutamine, Taurine, Arginine HCI, Beet Root Powder, Glycerol Monostearate, Norvaline, B-Vitamins, and Caffeine.

Okay, so all of this sounds great, but what you really want to know is, “is it any good.”  Well, I’m here to tell you that it is AWESOME!  I have never been much for pre-workouts and have always relied on my diet to fuel me; however, after running into Stephen Fleury at the gym one day, he convinced me to give his stuff a try.  At his recommendation, I started off with half a scoop and gradually worked my way up to a full scoop over about a two-week period.  After just a couple days of using FURY, I started noticing significant results.

My schedule usually requires me to work out first thing in the morning, but I am not much of a morning person when it comes to exercise, so I would typically find myself dragging my way through it.  Starting my morning off with FURY quickly changed that.  It has not just given me the fuel and motivation to blast through my workouts, but I am more focused and alert throughout the day.  My muscles recover quicker both during and after workouts, so I am able to lift harder and heavier, which has translated into noticeable gains in strength and size.  In fact, out of curiosity I began measuring my biceps once a week after starting on FURY to see if I could track any noticeable changes.  To my amazement, the size of my biceps increased by ¾” in just three weeks of using FURY!

I am now starting my fourth container of FURY (30 servings), which means I have been using the product almost four months (I train 6 days per week).  Although changes have not been as drastic as they were in those first couple of weeks, I have continued to see the benefits of this product.   My strength and endurance have continued to increase, my muscle growth has been consistently steady, and my body fat content has decreased substantially.  So yes, it works!

FURY is not sold in stores (you might find it on the shelves of a few local gyms in the Tucson area) and can only be purchased through the FSN Labs Website.  FURY sells for $45.00 and is proudly made in the USA in an FDA approved Good Manufacturing Practices lab using pure ingredients.  FSN Labs is always running discounts for law enforcement and military personnel.  Customers can message the FSN Labs Facebook page for current discount codes.  They are currently running a Buy One, Get One 50% Off deal with the discount code BOGO50.  I highly recommend you give it a try.
